GEEKWIRE – Jan 9 – Nearly a year after stepping down as CEO of Seattle-based Zillow Group, Spencer Rascoff is leading the launch dot.LA, a news site for Southern California tech. Dot.LA has attracted dozens of investors and just announced a $4M seed funding round with participation from venture capital firms such as Comcast Ventures, Maveron, Anthos and Greycroft; companies including the Los Angeles Dodgers and Snap; and executives and entrepreneurs including former Twitter CEO Dick Costolo, CEO of Tinder Elie Seidman and Tinder Founder Sean Rad.
